It will be a joy to see you again, and to participate in the CCR Priests' Retreat. On Sunday are have a big day, with Mass for the Japanese deceased in the quake and tsunami. The Japanese Consul General will lead the shookoo(焼香) ceremony. The Japanese Catholic Community has already raised $40,000 for our suffering brothers and sisters in north/east Japan, and we hope for a good collection at the Mass.A famous singing group will attend and will sing Haru ga Kita in Japanese. Our Japanese Catholics will sing Mi mo Tama mo, the Lourdes hymn in Japanese, with the English-only people joining in the Ave Ave Maria. the conclusion of the Mass the Japanese Catholics and some non Xn Japanese will sing Nagasaki no Kane.
In the love and sugoi Passion of the Lord and His Mother,
your brother Paul.

If you can get back to Father Paul Hata in Japan, please remind him that Eucharistic miracles do happened in Japan during the World War II. There were two monasteries in the cities which the United States dropped the atomic bombs (the atomic bombs were dropped only a few blocks off their
monasteries), the monasteries remained untouched and the priests survived.(広島、長崎? どこの修道院でしょうか?)
It is because they had the perpetual adoration in their monasteries.
As in the message given by our Lady in Fatima, she asked us to make reparation for our sins and the sins of the world. Having the perpetualadoration (永久聖体礼拝) is one of the great ways to make reparation for our sins.
I think it is time to encourage the Church in Japan to have the PerpetualAdoration and to do the 3 o'clock prayer to Jesus imploring His mercy. (午後3時に聖体礼拝をおこなう)
The 3 o'clock prayer:-(午後3時の祈り)
"You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fountain of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Jesus, I trust in You!"
Quoted from the Diary of St. Faustina:-(シスターファウスティナの日記からの引用)
"AT 3 O'CLOCK, IMPLORE MY MERCY, ESPECIALLY FOR SINNERS; AND, IF ONLY FOR A BRIEF MOMENT, IMMERSE YOURSELF IN MY PASSION, PARTICULARLY IN MY ABANDONMENT AT THE MOMENT OF AGONY. THIS IS THE HOUR OF GREAT MERCY FOR THE WHOLE WORLD. I WILL ALLOW YOU TO ENTER INTO MHY MORTAL SORROW. IN THIS HOUR, I WILL REFUSE NOTHING TO THE SOUL THAT MAKES A REQUEST OF ME IN VIRTUE OF MY PASSION..."
